Our mission is simple. We create timeless Danish design with a strong focus on uncompromising quality, Scandinavian minimalism, aesthetic honesty and generational functionality for small spaces. We give life to selected designs in collaboration with newly trained designers that are uniquely created for you and your home's needs. Designs that are created to be used and connect the surprising with the practical.
The history of Designers First is Danish, and it will also remain so. Every single product is designed by Danish upcoming designers and produced in our local workshop in Jutland. It is important for us to keep production in Denmark. We believe in the value of presence, and that it is in collaboration of different professions that we create the best product.
We have built up a strong team in Jutland consisting of several skilled production companies, all of whom are passionate about the craft traditions of the interior trade. Everyone has a deep love for the product and a common vision to create timeless Danish design, we can be proud of many decades into the future.
We follow a fixed process every time we start a new project. An extraordinary product requires the right decisions to be made at the right time. The fact that the entire production is gathered in Denmark makes it possible for us to work closely together through both the design phase and production. It ensures quality at all stages and allows for innovative solutions far ahead in the process. Our ambition is to convey as high product value for money as possible by opting out of several traditional expensive middlemen.
